We look forward to getting to know you and your family. But first, let us introduce ourselves!

Name: Emily Dahlby

Hometown: Bettendorf, IA

Saved: I started really walking with the Lord as a freshman in college at Iowa State. That was the start to an adventure I wouldn't miss for anything!

What I do: A little of this, a little of that. I handle the administrative side of things: office operations, scheduling volunteers, communications, etc. I just try to keep everyone and everything moving in the right direction at the right time.

Why I do what I do: Calling. I can't think of anything else on earth I'd rather be doing!

Fun Fact: In fourth grade I sprained both of my wrists jumping (successfully at first!) no-handed on a pogo stick.

If I could travel to one place, I would go to: Eastern Europe...no, the Philippines...no, Brazil. Honestly, I'll go anywhere. Just give me a visa and put me on a plane!

Name: Josh Loomis

Hometown: Winterset, IA

Saved: I've been a believer for as long as I can remember. I grew up in an awesome Christian home where we read the Bible every night as a family and always went to church.

What I do: In addition to working with the children and helping with the restoration of The Kathedral, I'm responsible for our audio department - editing messages, producing CD series, shipping product to ministry partners and editing the radio program.

Why I do what I do: I wouldn't do anything else. I knew as a child that I was called to ministry. Plus God told me I have to.

Fun Fact: I make up 96% of my statistics.

Name: John Merkel

Hometown: Daytona Beach, FL

Saved: I rededicated my life to God the summer before attending Florida State University. While volunteering at Camp Decision, a Holy Spirit inspired youth camp in central Florida, there was a strong conviction in my heart that compelled me to live a life worthy of the gospel. Since then, I haven't looked back.

What I do: Youth Minister and special projects

Why I do what I do: Ha. Because I love Jesus.

Fun Fact: I blow on my ice cream before eating it.

If I could travel to one place, I would go to: I had a friend in college who always talked about her trips to Morocco—I'd like to know what the big hype is all about.

If I could have any super-power, I would pick: To make healthy food taste as good as junk food.
